Investors urged to leverage Logan as tourism push gains momentum

The City of Logan is providing a great opportunity for existing and new businesses to leverage the tourism efforts that Logan City Council is currently working on.

With the launch of a new destination brand, Explore Logan, the development of a new Destination Management Plan and an ongoing events acquisition strategy – Logan City Council is dedicated to repositioning the city as a desirable destination.

From an investment perspective, this year Logan has seen the arrival of new tourism experiences including Area 51, Australia’s largest indoor playground, Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct and an expanded build of Chung Tian Temple.

Within the destination marketing space, earlier this year Council launched their new brand Explore Logan – established to create a more unique and exciting proposition for the city’s tourism offering, ensuring the strategic tourism destination goals are aligned closely with the community’s vision for the city.

Explore Logan will introduce visitors to the best the city has to offer, from a thriving art scene to a menu of culinary experiences, and a passion for sport and adventure.

To amplify the brand and create awareness of the City of Logan’s offerings, Explore Logan will be advertised using both out-of-home placements and digitally to surrounding regions including Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba over the upcoming school holiday period.

You will be able to find Explore Logan on a range of digital billboards across Brisbane, Gold Coast and the M1 in Logan, along with Cinema ads and online.

This is the biggest advertising roll-out for the brand and provides a great opportunity for visitors to consider Logan as a day-trip destination through their summer break.

Explore Logan has also recently launched their new Visitor Guide, available online and print which can be found at selected Visitor Information Centres.

With all of these activities in place combined with the 2032 Olympic and Paralympics, the City of Logan is preparing to be a destination of choice – providing a fantastic opportunity for new and existing tourism experiences to be developed.
