Police believe the 21-year-old victim arrived at the car park in the Gold Coast suburb of Hope Island on March 11 to supply drugs to another man.

However, the victim was robbed and fatally stabbed with a kitchen carving knife, police allege.

A 24-year-old Hope Island man is the second person to be charged with murder and robbery.

He will face Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

A 23-year-old Redbank Plains man was earlier charged with murder and remains before the courts.

Police believe the 23-year-old man and the victim had met briefly at a music concert on the weekend before the incident but apart from this they did not know each other.
