The company said its 17-hole drill campaign at the project in the Palmer River region had been very successful and it was “now defining a broad zone of continuous copper oxide mineralisation immediately adjoining the very high-grade massive sulphide lens”.

Revolver shares jumped 9 per cent following the announcement.

One drill hole returned 3.5 metres of 13.87 per cent copper, 0.87 per cent zinc as well as gold, silver and cobalt. A second hole had 6.95 metres at 5.46 per cent copper, 7.59 per cent zinc and 37 grams per tonne of silver.

Managing director Pat Williams said not only was there very high grade intersections but the rich poly metallic nature of the mineralisation was an encouraging bonus.

The adjacent Green Hill also showed results which included 50 metres at .91 per cent copper.

“These are truly remarkable copper grades,” he said.

He said the near term exploration efforts would have a dual focus to continue the indentification of extensions and repeats of the massive sulphide lens as well as determining the extent of the Green Hill oxide mineralisation zone.
