The 35-year-old allegedly stole an entire ATM at Jericho, about 800km northwest of Brisbane, and attempted to steal another machine at Bargara.

Police say the man also stole money from an ATM at Alpha, in central Queensland, during the alleged crime spree in August and September.

He was charged with 36 offences, including wilful damage, unlawful possession of weapons, stealing, dangerous operation of a vehicle, and entering premises to commit an indictable offence.

The man is scheduled to appear at Gladstone Magistrates Court on Thursday.
