The man was found unresponsive in a unit complex at Parrearra on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency services attempted to assist the man, but he died at the scene.

A 55-year-old man was taken into custody on Thursday. It is understood the two men were known to each other.

Investigations are continuing and police have urged anyone with information or footage that could assist to come forward.

Meanwhile, two men have been charged over an attack which left a 37-year-old man with serious injuries to his abdomen and back.

He was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious condition.

Police say they had been called to Bridgeman Downs in Brisbane’s north about 3:30am on Thursday over reports of an altercation between three men.

Two men- aged 69 and 25- have been charged with attempted murder.

The three men are known to each other, police say.

They’re both expected to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
