Man fights for life after Logan police shooting

A 40-year-old man is being treated for life-threatening injuries after he was shot by police in Logan south of Brisbane.

The 40-year-old man was shot by police at Croydon Road in Logan Central about 1pm (AEST) on Wednesday.

Police said the man was being treated at the scene by ambulance officers for life-threatening injuries.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said investigations were ongoing.
