Drug network smashed, $4 million haul of narcotics seized in Brisbane raids
Detectives say they have dismantled a significant drug supply network after seizing more than $4 million worth of narcotics and cash via raids in Queensland over the past six months.

The search warrants across Brisbane and surrounds resulted in the arrest of 11 people and uncovered 33 kilograms of MDMA, 2.3kg of cocaine, 1.5kg of methamphetamine and more than $1.8m in cash.
Officers also seized eight firearms, two vehicles and drug manufacturing equipment.
Detective Inspector Glen Farmer from the City Valley Crime Group said the six-month operation, dubbed Victor Kiki, had removed a significant quantity of illicit drugs from the community.
“If people choose to get involved in the business of selling drugs, they can expect to be actively targeted by us and we make no apologies for that,” Det Insp Farmer said.
The operation focused on cocaine and ice trafficking in central Brisbane and was led by Brisbane detectives and assisted by Inala Tactical Crime Squad and Australian Border Force.
During the next three months, 10 men and one woman are due to face court on charges ranging from drug trafficking as part of serious organised crime to drug possession and weapon supply, as a result of the operation.
