Seven injured, one critically, as harvester hits power lines

A harvester has reportedly crashed into a powerline on a regional Queensland pineapple farm, leaving one man critically injured and another six hurt.

The man in his 20s was rushed to Yeppoon Hospital after critical care paramedics arrived to the farm north of Rockhampton on Wednesday morning.

A helicopter has been sent to airlift the man for further treatment, while three others were transported to Rockhampton in a stable condition.

Another man in his 20s and two others in their 40s are also stable, a spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance Service said.

Queensland Police, fire and rescue crews and workplace health and safety also attended.

Ergon Energy were on scene to isolate the power.
