World premiere of Paul Dean’s Double Bass Concerto at QPAC
A standing ovation which lasted for almost 10-minutes erupted across a packed QPAC Concert Hall on Saturday, for the world premiere of Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra, written especially for Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s Section Principal Double Bass, Phoebe Russell by famed Queensland composer Paul Dean.
