Exec appointments: McTaggart farewells Suncorp
Doug McTaggart leaves the Suncorp board, Mayur Resources gets a new chair and Brett Johnston moves on to the Master Builders national board and more in this week’s appointments.

McTaggart pulls stumps
Suncorp has announced that former Under Treasurer and QIC chief executive Doug McTaggart had retired from its board and would be replaced by Gillian Brown.
Suncorp chair Christine McLoughlin said McTaggart had made a significant contribution to the company since joining the board in 2012.
Brown was the chair of Minter Ellison Partnership for three years and a partner at the company for 22 years. She is also a director of Ausgrid, the High Speed Rail Authority, Bric Housing and QIC.
Mayur’s new chair
Mayur Resources has appointed Richard Pegum as executive director.
The company also revealed that Pegum was in line for the role of executive chair on the retirement of Charles Fear.
Pegum started his career at Macquarie where he was made executive director.
Infinity loses CEO, director
Infinity Mining revealed its chief executive Joe Groot had resigned, but would maintain his role as director of the company.
Harley Groot has resigned as a director.
Executive chair Joe Phillips said the company would also have a refresh of its corporate governance and a strategy update.
MBA takes on two
Master Builders Australia has appointed two new board members.
Effective immediately, Simon Pilcher, from NSW, and Brett Johnston, from Queensland have been made board members.
They succeed Ralf Dutton from Queensland and Ross Mitchell from NSW.
PeopleIn appoints Mannes
Brisbane-based PeopleIn has appointed Lis Mannes to its board as a non-executive director.
She was recently the executive general manager for CHEP Australia and has also worked for Pact Group and George Weston Foods.
Mannes is also a director at Quickstep.
Kuhlmann joins Sentinel
Anthony Kuhlman has started at Sentinel Property Group as an investment sales engagement officer.
Previously he worked for Thoughtworks and GWI.
