Impedimed has a new team, Jumbo Interactive appoints an interim CFO, Crown Law has a new principal lawyer and Cromwell loses a long term CFO and more in this week’s executive appointments.

Impedimed purge brings in new board

The shareholder revolt at Impedimed has meant sweeping changes to the board.

McGregor Grant is the new chair and he will be joined by non-executive directors Christine Emmanuel-Donnelly, Andrew Grant and Janelle Delaney.

Rick Valencia has been maintained as managing director.

Jumbo appoints Khosla

Jumbo Interactive has appointed Jatin Khosla as interim chief financial officer while it undertakes a review of its global finance and support services.

He replaces David Todd, who resigned for health reasons.

Khosla was previously the head of investor relations.

MD moves to chair

Icon Energy said Raymond James had been named as chair effective October 6.

James has been managing director of the company for 27 years and had more than 40 years of experience in the petroleum sector.

Jeffrey Marvin has been appointed managing director.

Megaport makes it official

Megaport has made it official: Leticia Dorman has been appointed chief financial officer.

Dorman has been acting in the role since March.

Before that, she was head of finance.

McCreery joins Blue board

Blue Energy has appointed John McCreery to the board as a non-executive director.

His appointment begins on December 1.

McCreery has worked in senior, principal and partner roles in London, Singapore and Houston and was the head of Asia Pacific for Bain & Company’s global energy practice.

Cromwell loses CFO

Real estate investor and fund manager Cromwell Property said its chief financial officer Michael Wilde had resigned and would leave the company at the end of December after 18 years.

He would be pursuing “other interests and opportunities”.

Cromwell has started a search for a replacement.

New Peak CEO quits

New Peak Metals said Boyd White had resigned as chief executive of the company.

His resignation would take effect on November 3.

The board thanked White for his years of service.

Austchina’s new director

Mining company Austchina has announced Mena Habib as a non executive director.

David Morris has also resigned from the Austchina board.

The company said Habib was currently a director of Power Minerals and Adelong Gold. He was previously on the boards of Pepinnini Minerals and Equinox Resources.

Crown Law’s new principal

Angela Szcszepanski has started her new position as principal lawyer at Crown Law Queensland.

She was previously with Gadens and before that with the National Retail Association.

TTNQ’s new exec

Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ) has appointed Tara Bennett to the position of General Manager – Partnerships and Events starting in early 2024.

Bennett is the Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Port Douglas Daintree and will replace Rosie Douglas who is leaving TTNQ at the end of the year after a 15-year career with the organisation to undertake consulting work.

Future fund appoints Reemst

The Albanese Government has appointed Mary Reemst to the Future Fund Board of Guardians for a five‑year term.

Reemst worked for the Macquarie Group for more than two decades, including seven years as Chief Executive Officer and 11 years as the Global Head of Credit.

She previously held senior investment banking roles at Bankers Trust Australia.

She has previously been a board member of the Australian Bankers’ Association, the Australian Financial Markets Association, and the Financial Markets Foundation for Children.
